Salman Khan fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the action-packed ‘Tiger 3’, scheduled to hit theaters on November 12. Recent reports have emerged that the film will not be released in Oman, Kuwait, and Qatar.
The reason behind the ban is said to be the movie’s portrayal of Islamic countries and characters, which has been deemed negative. Emraan Hashmi, who plays the villain leading a global terror organization, is at the center of this controversy.
While official confirmation of the ban is pending, some speculate that a scene involving Katrina Kaif could also be a contributing factor. This isn’t the first time a Bollywood film has faced such issues; Akshay Kumar’s ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ was similarly banned in Kuwait and Oman for allegedly distorting history and offending the Muslim community.
‘Tiger 3′, directed by Maneesh Sharma, is a continuation of the Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe, following ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’, and ‘Pathaan’. The film is expected to be a major hit, with advance bookings indicating a strong audience response. There’s also buzz about cameo appearances by Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan, adding to the excitement.
