Shah Rukh Khan Response to Suhana Complaint in The Archies Rehearsals
Ganesh Hegde, a renowned choreographer, shared an amusing incident involving Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter, Suhana Khan, during the rehearsals for the upcoming film “The Archies.”
Suhana, who is making her acting debut with this film, will be seen showcasing her skating skills in several songs.
During the rehearsals, Suhana expressed to her father, Shah Rukh Khan, that Ganesh Hegde wasn’t complimenting her on her performance. Shah Rukh humorously responded to his daughter, saying,
“Ganesh has never complimented me. Tujhe kya compliment karega (Why would he compliment you)?”
Ganesh Hegde, who has previously worked with Shah Rukh Khan on films like “Ra.One” and “Happy New Year,” mentioned that he eventually praised Suhana Khan at the end of the song’s shoot.
He explained that he withheld compliments initially to push her to give her best, aiming for 150 percent effort rather than settling at 100 percent. After the song was completed, he acknowledged her excellent performance, which made her very happy.
Hegde also observed that Suhana had a natural flair for skating and was more comfortable than the others. He noted that she is very much like her father, Shah Rukh Khan, in her determination to achieve perfection.
“The Archies,” directed by Zoya Akhtar, is set to premiere on December 7 on Netflix. The film, set in 1960s India, also features Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda and late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor.
Agastya will be seen as Archie Andrews, Khushi as Betty Cooper, and Suhana as Veronica Lodge. The film also includes Vedang Raina as Reggie Mantle, Mihir Ahuja as Jughead Jones, Dot as Ethel Muggs, and Yuvraj Menda as Dilton Doiley.
This incident sheds light on the behind-the-scenes dynamics and the playful interactions between the cast and crew, adding a personal touch to the much-anticipated film.
