Following the uproar, Khan was questioned and booked under Section 354 A (se*ual harassment) and Section 509 (word, gesture, or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code.
In response to the controversy, Trisha took to her social media to condemn Khan’s remarks. She described them as “se*ist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive,” and in bad taste.
Trisha expressed her gratitude for never having shared screen space with Khan and vowed to ensure it never happens in her career. She criticized Khan’s attitude, stating that such behavior brings a bad name to mankind.
Recently, Mansoor Ali Khan issued a public apology to Trisha. He expressed remorse for his comments and asked for forgiveness. In a statement shared by trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Khan said, “My co-actress Trisha, please forgive me!”
Trisha, addressing the apology, posted on her social media, “To err is human, to forgive is divine,” indicating her willingness to move past the incident. Her response highlights the importance of forgiveness and rising above negativity.
