Prabhas ‘Salaar’ Hits 600 Crore Milestone
Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, a film directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, has made a significant impact at the box office. Released in theaters on December 22 in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi, the film has successfully entered the ₹600 crore club globally.

Set in the fictional city of Khansaar, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire” tells the story of two friends, Deva (played by Prabhas) and Vardha (played by Prithviraj).
The film has been praised for its epic action sequences and has garnered the highest opening day figures for any Indian title in 2023, surpassing even Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan” and “Jawan,” as well as Ranbir Kapoor’s “Animal.”
Produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films, the movie also features Shruti Haasan, Eshwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Tinnu Anand, and Jagapathi Babu in significant roles.
