Animal Box Office Collection on Day 11 and More
Ranbir Kapoor’s latest film, “Animal,” directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has been making waves at the box office. With its lengthy runtime and mixed reviews, the film has been pulling in impressive numbers.
On its 11th day, “Animal” experienced its lowest single-day earnings, yet it still managed to collect Rs 13 crore, surpassing the opening day collections of many recent Bollywood films.
The film’s total domestic collection now stands at Rs 443.27 crore, with significant contributions from its Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions. “Animal” has been competing with Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” for the top spot in Hindi cinema’s all-time grossers. However, “Jawan” had a slightly higher collection on its second Monday.
Internationally, “Animal” has amassed Rs 717.46 crore within just ten days of its release.
Notably, the Hindi version of “Animal” has now surpassed “KGF: Chapter 2” in the all-time list, though it still trails behind films like “Jawan,” “Pathaan,” “Gadar 2,” and “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.”
“Animal” revolves around Ranbir Kapoor’s character, Ranvijay, who seeks revenge for an assassination attempt on his father, a steel magnate played by Anil Kapoor. T
he film has been praised for its strong performances, particularly by Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri. However, it has also faced criticism for its portrayal of toxic masculinity and violence.
With another week to go before the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki” and Prabhas’ “Salaar,” “Animal” has the opportunity to climb further up the all-time box office chart. The film currently holds the seventh position in the global box office rankings for Hindi movies.
